BODYWORK
After working with some massage assists through Forrest Yoga, I became more curious about bodies & the healing touch. In 2019 I became a Bodyworker with Alchemy of Touch. Since then I have completed Deep Tissue & Cupping trainings.
Bodywork encompasses a collection of techniques for restoring health and balance to the entire person by working through the body. It is beneficial if you are looking to address specific issues, such as pain, posture, or low energy.
I use a soft but deep approach of intuitive methods. These include a mixture of deep tissue strokes, myofascial release, Thai yoga massage, joint mobilisation, and the unique stroke; the soothing 'fluid touch', which mimics the flow of energy in the body. The focus in each bodywork session is to soothe and rebalance without jarring the nervous system.
I've worked with hundreds of clients of a wide range of ages and conditions. Returning clients tell me their mobility has improved, pain has reduced & muscles released. Many sleep better, and all leave with a feeling of deep relaxation. I offer stretches for you to try independently to support our work together.
